Anthony J Piasecki, M.D.

October 23, 1927 ~ June 24, 2018 (age 90)

Anthony J. Piasecki, M.D., 90, of Naples died June, 24, 2018. Dr. Piasecki was born in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada to Anthony and Mary Piasecki. He attended the University of Ottawa, Canada, graduating with his medical degree in 1955, then serving as a Medial Officer for the Royal Canadian Air Force for seven years. Following his Orthopedic Residency at St. Francis Hospital in Peoria, Illinois, he worked for the next twenty-seven as an Orthopedic Surgeon for Medical Associates Clinic in Dubuque, Iowa before retiring to Naples in 1993.  Dr. Piasecki was a very gifted Orthopedic Surgeon, Member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons, Medical Staff President for Xavier Hospital and Mercy Hospital, Dubuque, Iowa and member of the Board of Directors, Silver Oaks Vineyards. Dr. Piasecki was a Fourth Degree Knight and honored member of the St. William Parish Knights of Columbus Council. He was preceded in death by his first wife Claudette and son Daniel. He is survived by his wife Maryanne and daughter Roxanna (Michael Stoffel), sons Anthony (Diane Piasecki), Steven Piasecki, stepdaughter Patricia Green, grandchildren Michelle (Brian Wroblewski) and Lisa (Matt Davis), Great Grandchildren Lucy, Owen and Brody and his sister Roseanne Galante, and brothers Louis and Victor Piasecki.  There will be a visitation, 5pm-7pm with Recitation of the Rosary at 6pm this Thursday, June 28th at the Main Sanctuary of Fuller Funeral Home – North, 1625 Pine Ridge Road, Naples. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, June 29th at 10am, St. William Catholic Church, 601 Seagate Drive, Naples. A Funeral Mass is scheduled for Friday, June 29th 10am at St William Catholic Church, 601 Seagate Drive, Naples, FL
